Karolina is a Policy and Communications Officer at the Cobalt Institute. She joined in 2026 from the European Commission, where she worked on EU raw materials policy in DG GROW, contributing to the implementation of the Critical Raw Materials Act and the RESourceEU Action Plan.
In her role, she supports the Institute’s policy and communications activities to promote the responsible and sustainable production and use of cobalt. She develops policy materials, monitors political and regulatory developments, and supports engagement with policymakers, industry, and other key stakeholders through strategic communications and events.
With a background in national security and defence, Karolina is interested in the role of critical raw materials in enabling defence capabilities and strengthening the resilience of critical supply chains. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations (Strategic Studies) and a Bachelor's degree in National Security (Intelligence Studies) from Jagiellonian University.
