Mike Blakeney

Mike is responsible for the Cobalt Institute’s external engagement, including government and public affairs, and communications. In particular, Mike leads on the CI’s global regulatory and political advocacy.

With over a decade’s experience under his belt, Mike has worked with many of the world’s largest mining and metals companies, including the likes of Anglo American and Rio Tinto. Mike has also supported government affairs and communications activities for major international blue chip brands, some of the world’s largest financial services companies, as well as large industrial clients.
