Roundtable – ESG Minerals Standards

13 October 2023, 9.00 – 11.00 am BST, 99 Bishopsgate, Landmark Office Space, London

Cobalt Institute – the global trade association representing the cobalt industry committed to promoting the safe, sustainable and responsible production and consumption of cobalt – will hold an in-person roundtable on ESG Minerals Standards on 13 October 2023 in London. The event will be held under Chatham House Rule.

The purpose of the session is to share key findings from the ESG Standards Dialogue with downstream, upstream, civil society and government actors on the expectations of mineral standards and what they can deliver. Through these conversations, several core “themes” have been identified – highlighting specific areas of divergence and convergence amongst the value chain on the role of standards themselves and the content that is included within them. The London session will highlight those themes, inviting participants to respond and discuss the path forward.
