Cobalt Institute – the global trade association representing the cobalt industry committed to promoting the safe, sustainable and responsible production and consumption of cobalt – invites you to a roundtable on the Responsible Sourcing of Cobalt: Meeting ESG Expectations taking place in Washington, DC on September 22.

The purpose of the event is to convene the cobalt industry together with stakeholders from US government, downstream companies, civil society, think-tanks and standard setting bodies to foster a meaningful dialogue on credible minerals ESG standards such that positives outcomes for people and planet on the ground are maximized. It is part of an ESG dialogue series that will become the foundation of a position statement the Cobalt Institute aims to produce highlighting areas of convergence, shared industry standards and expectations.
